Our Impact
Children's Opportunity Foundation is filling the gap of care needed for the at-risk children of Southern Minnesota through advocacy, care, and training. A team of dedicated staff and volunteers are committed to building a strong and vibrant community through the establishment of stable family foundations. COF believes that a greater impact can be made through, not only service to the at-risk child, but also by empowering their caregivers. Therefore, our approach is holistic in form, serving both the at-risk child and their family unit.

Our Programs
advanced trauma competent care
Advanced Trauma Competent Care Training (TCC) is geared towards the needs of helping professionals who specialize in trauma care, parents, and full-time caregivers of children experiencing the effects of trauma.
families count
Families Count is geared towards the parents of children who have been placed into the local foster care system or who are at risk of entering it. Our desire is to equip birth families with the tools and support needed for permanency and success in reunification.
